What is
Java?
Java
is a programming language. Java is widely used today in the world for many purposes.
For e.g. websites, machine to machine communication, Android and etc.
Let’s talk about how java started and the
genius behind it.
Java
was created by James Gosling, Mike Sheridan, and Patrick Naughton in June 1991,
original java was originally designed for interactive television, but it was
too advanced for the digital cable television industry at the time.

AT
first James Gosling named java as OAK after an oak tree that stood outside
Gosling's office. Late Oak was given another name called Green; finally the
name changed again and was given Java which we know today. Gosling designed
Java with a C/C++-style syntax which later we are all familiar with.
